Multi I/O Cards – CMB
  • CMB Modules (Compatibility Management Board) is a 6U VME FPGA board with Xilinx Vertex 5 FPGA

  • 4 channel 12 bit ADCs
  • LVDS/TTL channels,
  • RS232/RS422 channels,
  • Optos, DACs, high speed Ethernet and VME interface
  • BSP and APIs have been developed


The ADC to Ethernet module includes ARM processor with built in Ethernet port and Nine channel ADC. The module converts the nine channel analog data into Ethernet Packets and sends out. The programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) module Plugs into the ADC to Ethernet module and conditions the analog signal from external source. The conditioned signal becomes the analog input to the ADC. Both the modules are of the same dimension and stacked one over the other. Socket and plug connectors are provided on the PCB modules to ensure proper interconnection between both the PCB modules. The CTI07D05 is a data converter I/O card that converts Parallel Source synchronous
Data to UDP packets and sends it over Ethernet.

  • Number of inputs Parallel 16 bit data, 1 clock, 1 bit control for sync
  • Electrical characteristic RS422 level
  • Input clock frequency 2 MHz
  • Input sync frequency 12.8 KHz
  • Output Type 10/100 Ethernet over copper
  • Dual FIFO banks 4K X 16 each top enable the simultaneous read and write from the FIFO bank.
